Every 28 days, the Cosmos invites us to contact our emotions and think about the things we want to manifest in our lives.
The arrival of the Full Moon represents the end of a cycle, a time when we harvest the intentions we planted during the New Moon.
This is a time to slow down for a couple of days and learn more about the pate we are walking through right now.
Full Moons are completion junctures, so full moon rituals are conclusive and reflective. This is not the time to jump into a new project but to focus on what you’ve done in the most recent lunar cycle.
What lessons have you learned? What blessings have you reaped? What things are worth letting go of, and what’s worth fighting for?
Use the following Full Moon rituals to evaluate, assess, cleanse, and recharge your energies.
1. Cleanse your mental and physical space
Full Moons build up a lot of energy, both positive and negative. This gives you the perfect opportunity to cleanse your mind, body, and environment.
Remove all the energy you don’t want to retain anymore by taking a luxurious bath, smudging your home, or just taking some time alone to relax.
2. Charge your crystals
The Moonlight has a powerful effect on crystals, so you can take this opportunity to charge and clean them. Set your intentions in the gemstones to start this new cycle focused on your upcoming projects.
3. Meditate
Full Moons are times of completion, not beginnings. This moment is the perfect occasion to engage in self-reflection, which a meditation session can bring about.
Sit in a quiet place with your thoughts for as long as you want to. Breath deeply and let those thoughts flow through your mind without judging them.
Wait for a few minutes until you feel relaxed and at peace.
You can practice this every day, regardless of the lunar cycle.
4. Dance to release stagnant energy
You can also release stagnant or build-up energy with your body. Dance around your bedroom without thinking about your movements until you let some of that energy go.
5. Let go of extra emotional baggage
Meditating and self-reflection can make you notice behavioral patterns that are not aligned with your higher self.
Use this Full Moon to make them conscious and let them go once and for all.
6. Check your to-do list
If you made a to-do list during the last new moon, Full Moons are the perfect time to look at their progress. If you are closer to accomplishing your objectives, continue moving forward.
If not, ask yourself what happened. Maybe these goals no longer resonate with you, so it’s time to let them go or modify them accordingly to your current desires.
7. Relax for a bit
Full Moons make us restless since they are highly energetic times. Hence, a fantastic way to celebrate this phase is to take time off to relax.
Stop what you are doing for a while and be aware of what’s happening around you. Notice your thoughts and feelings while discovering profitable opportunities you’ve been missing.
You are exactly where you are supposed to be.
8. Don’t rush to start a new project
Full Moons can get you energized, which might tempt you to embark on something new. However, try to resist the urge for at least a couple of weeks.
This is not the time to commit to new projects or make important decisions but for taking the fruits of your past harvest. If you start something new, you might regret it after a while.
9. Don’t overreact
Everyone’s emotions are at their absolute peak during a Full Moon. This might lead to arguments, conflicts, and unnecessary fights. So, the best advice is to take a deep breath and resist the urge to react to every little thing someone says.
An emotional balance should be the goal of every full moon—chase it.
10. Don’t make rash decisions
Full Moons are emotional, energetic, and lively times. However, don’t rush into making impulsive decisions.
Wait for a while to fully process things before committing. Patience will be your ally during this time; never forget that.
